Dan sent me a link to this article yesterday.
So I was about to go to bed last night at about 10:30. I fell asleep watching a documentary on HBO about the crystal meth problem in rural America. It’s quite sad, actually. These people are “lost”. Anyway, after dozing off, I decided to “computer life”. BAD MOVE! I should’ve just gone to bed at ~10:30. Instead, I went to bed at 11:55pm. Oh well. Can’t win ’em all.

I can’t believe a soccer team, or any team for that matter, is worth $1.38 billion dollars!
Believe me… the Palm isn’t going to happen THAT often… they had this deal for dinner for $130. Big steak, 3lb. Lobster, bunch o’ stuff, 2 splits of champagne. We thought, no way. So we ordered up… bill came to $156 w/o tip.
We had four $10.75 Ketel One, Starbucks Espresso, Kahlua, Chocolate Liquer martinis, thankyouverymuch. $43.00 in drinks. DAMN.
Dr. Richard Golden (D.O.C.) sat behind us!
Week two starts today. Ran for 30 minutes and did shoulders, which is the body part I missed last week. I have to get a bit more disciplined with my weekend diet habits. I typically do very well all week, while working out every day, but when the weekend hits, I am a bit lazier and more “loose” with my eating habits. I had a HUGE Valentine’s Day dinner at The Palm on Friday, had a bunch of junky finger food (including 3 pieces of Pizza) at a Euchre party on Saturday night, and then had some really thick pizza last night at Pizzeria Uno. Not exactly the type of food I should be indulging in while trying to start the Beefcake Transformation Process earlier than I did last year. I was afraid to weigh myself this morning because of all that. I’ll wait and see what I weight tomorrow.
Looks like Dell has come out with quite a laptop for the mobile gamer!

Tonight, I’m taking my wife out for a very nice dinner, pre-Valentine’s day style. We have other commitments tomorrow, and I think it’ll be a little less hectic tonight. I’m quite excited about it, actually. Not excited about dropping the coin, but what’s a guy to do?
I’m also thrilled to see if my mom, mother-in-law, and wife, like the flowers they are going to receive today. (The chance my wife is reading this…0.000001%). It’s kind of like a little game I’m playing with myself. (I’m bored).
Oh yeah, I got her an awesome gift for V-Day, even though we said we aren’t doing this. I think it’s a necessity for her… she’ll love it.

Okay, week one is complete. The next few weeks are going to be tough. Partly because I’m going to NYC for about 7 days from Feb. 21 (night) - Feb. 27 (night). I probably won’t be lifting then, but I will try and do a little running, especially in and around Central Park!
I’m actually quite thrilled about my trip to NYC for a number of reasons.
After this trip, my 2nd in a short time, I’ll be heading to Colorado to meet up with Sean for 3 more days of snowboarding. I can’t wait! That’ll be Mar. 17 (night) - March 21 (evening).
…hum dee dum.

The BTP has started again! What is the BTP?
Beefcake Transformation Process! It did me wonders last summer and fall. We’ll see what it can do for me this year!

Legs
I’ll try and get a few before picture up here and then in a few months we’ll have “after” pictures up.
I picked up two Navy Blue Herman Miller Aeron chairs yesterday that were slightly used (at a show or convention). I think I got a pretty good deal on them. Paid about half of what they go for on Ebay. Michelle loved them. I brought them in last night while she was sleeping. This morning, she was very shocked and very happy to see them.
This is the chair, but ours are navy blue. They look FABULOUS!!!
Michelle’s PDA Quest
I think Michelle is ready for another PDA. Our Handspring Visors we got a few years ago went kaput a few years ago! Michelle’s role is changing at work, so she’s going to be in need of a PDA, to do a lot of work “on the go”. I think we’re going to get her the Palm Tungsten T3. It’s got a 320x480 display, which is DOUBLE the resolution that my Dell Axim X5 Advanced has. I’m also in the market for a new PDA. I might auction my Axim on my site, Axim Users Dot Com.
Saab
The Saab has been pretty solid. I’m in the middle of a small dispute with the service writer (and the dealership) to replace all four of the Pirelli P-Zeros with the newer ones they are putting on the car (slightly harder rubber compound). They want me to pay $46 per tire. I think they should pay if they are going with a slightly different compound…don’t you agree?

I wish it was actually Friday. For some reason, this week is going to be a slow one. Not sure why, either. Maybe it’s because I have lots of leisure-based thoughts on my mind. I’m already getting excited and saving my pennies for my trip out west next month with Sean. We’re either going to the same area in Colorado, Boise, Lake Tahoe, or even Whistler, BC (most exciting). Regardless of where we go, I can’t wait!
