Big Game Tonight Boooooy!
The Pistons are playing tonight at the Palace. This is the first of 3 games at home. It would be fantastic if they could pull off 3 wins in a row to win the NBA Finals, AT HOME!
Go Pistons!

Go Pistons!
I can’t believe one team would go to such lengths to win!!!
Dino finally earned some gmail invitations. I used one of them on myself. Snicker!
…DEVASTATIA about the Pistons losing last night. With less than a minute to go, they were up by 6 points. Then, they laid down. A 3 point play by Shaq, a missed jumper by Billups, and then that crazy, 2.4 (but the clock stopped at 2.1) seconds-left-in-regulation 3-pointer by Kobe… and he frickin’ made it!!! After that, the Pistons laid down, for good. They lost, 99-91. Game 3 is tomorrow night, in “Michigan” as Al Michaels says it. I think people are generally afraid of Detroit.
Their latest version comes with factory-installed water-cooling! This thing looks gorgeous!
JT$ sent me this:
Be your own ISP
Be reprogramming your router with some custom firmware, it looks like you can pretty much be your own neighborhood’s wireless ISP!
So, a Ford hits 200+ MPH. That’s a good time, no matter who you work for or what you do. It’s good to see some good old fashioned American muscle!
This “centerfold” not only shows us some of the awesome SFF cases/solutions out there, but it also gives us their specs and links to their system recommendations for SFF PCs.
How’s it going? I’m so glad the Pistons worked the Lakers! I hope they can keep that up.
Server got hacked!
I hate hackers who have nothing better to do than to make your life hell. Friday sucked. All day, the server was down, and we were facing losing TONS of data, email, etc. Finally, CI Host re-imaged the server and copied over our data. At first, they wanted to just give me the server back, like a clean slate, and keep my original data on a slave drive. Something like: “Your server’s back up, good luck.”
This morning, I think I found one way the server got hacked. In a certain directory, someone installed PHPSHell by Macker. This shell allows you to run commands at the server level. This could be very detrimental, depending on what rights the user (webserver) running the commands had. I’m hoping that the exploit has been corrected. PHEW!
This rocks.
I love “project” websites. There was stinky meat, stinky feet, now we have:
Now that is awesome. If you have your own lounge, restaurant, diner, or coffee shop, you can make some extra money by “renting out” your existing WiFi setup. After all, if you own one of these things and are there all day, I’d certainly hope you’d have a decent network and internet pipe set up!
Hilarious. hic
