I think Scott will like this:

My friend at work, F. Polkinski (made up last name, like usual) sent along this:
POLISH EYE TEST
A Pole goes to the ophthalmologist who shows him
a card, with the letters C Z W X N Q S T A C Z printed on it.
Can you read this?" he asks.
“Read it?” the Pole replies, “I know the guy!”
We had a damn good time at Dino’s bachelor party. Ike and Demo did a number in getting the hall and just about everything else set up. Kudos to you guys, seriously! Mitch was the ring leader, and did an excellent job in making sure everything with w/o a hitch. We had a pretty good turnout, too. I don’t think anyone was upset with the turnout!
After the party, we went back to Dino’s and hung out, until about 6AM with Dino, Steve, and Dan. It’d been a while since we just hung out, BSing in the computer room, looking at games, websites, etc. Old times. Got home and screwed around on the computer and then went to bed at about 7AM. OUCH. Got up at noon.
Went over to Shield’s to clean up their office computer that had some instability problems. I hooked it up, cleaned it out, and re-installed their anti-virus software. It’s nice to be able to help friends out, and vice-versa. We’re having a small dinner there for Michelle’s birthday this week. It’s a nice place. I also bought them a domain name today, shieldsofwarren.com. Not sure they need a site, but they can at least have professional looking e-mail!
So, I’m going running right now, I know, I’ve already said that. However, a few weeks ago, Scott taught me about making playlists on the iPod. I always thought I had to do the On-the-Go Playlist, which is kind of a pain in the ass. Having to scroll through and individually select albums, or songs to add to a “current” playlist. Again, hassle. Now, I’m going through and making a playlist for running. I’ve been running to either rap or electronica, but now, I’m actuall making a list of songs that are actually GOOD. I suppose I could do this thing that Scott does. He goes through and ranks all his songs with 1 to 5 stars. Then he makes smart playlists that play only songs that are rated as a 5. So, no matter what songs you add to your iPod, you’ll have a playlist that plays the songs you chose as best! Hmm… a lot of work?
Today looks to be a fun-filled day. Got some damn good sleep, about 8 hours. Getting ready to go and do my 12 miles this morning. Although I know I need to train and put my time in, I’m glad it’s only 12 miles. Next weekend is 18 miles, then 14, then 20, then 12, and then 8, I think, and then the race (we’re talking weekend long-runs here).
After my run, I get to come home and wind-down again for a little bit. Steve is coming into town for the bachelor party. We’re going biking at Pontiac Lake at 3pm. Should be awesome. Not sure I’ve ever done a long run and biked Pontiac Lake on the same day. I can’t wait.
After the biking, we’ll have to start getting ready. We’ll get warshed up, and then start doing our thing. Probably need to do some last minute shopping before the par-tay!
Just being silly. Not really, though. I love Firefox.
In the bottom of my right column, you’ll see a link to Firefox browser.
I’ve joined a site called Spread Firefox, http://spreadfirefox.com. I love this browser, and I love what the Mozilla Foundation has been doing for the past few years now!
Ali G wants Dino and his friends to have a damn good time tomorrow night at his bachelor party!
“Go to Dino’s party…I’ll be there…well, in spirit!”

Okay, I usually remember a face, but not always. What I did remember about this one homeless guy Michelle and I met a few months back was his teeth!
Dan’s friend, Ryan, is getting into photography, and has this project he’s working on called The Snowsuit Effort.
Anyway, I was going through Ryan’s site and saw a picture and name that sounded familiar!
What winners. Don’t use it if you don’t want to, period.
Yippee!!! Firefox is almost done with their first real release. Version 1.0 is out in a preview release, and Thunderbird is out with version 0.8. They’ve added a global inbox, RSS reading (to read feeds like news and blogs), comprehensive data migration (for importing all sorts of thangs), and improved privacy controls!
I’ve gone ahead and pointed my newest domain name, surrogatememory.com, to this blog, for now.
I’m thinking about doing something clever with it, but I’m not sure. For now, it’ll serve it’s named purpose, acting as my surrogate memory!
Friends, here is a color version of the flyer for Dino’s Bachelor Party.

They haven’t won a road game since Dec. 2000. 3 full seasons of football. They finally won, 20-16, against the Chicago Bears. Good for them. Well, it came with a cost. Charles Rogers is out, indefinitely, with a broken clavicle, again!!! What a weaking!! It’s tragic our best player is going to be sidelined this entire season (most likely). Damn shame. I guess Roy Williams had some nice catches, too bad I missed them.
You know, it’s hard to deal with 5 fantasy leagues, 3 pick’em games, 1 survival game, and 1 salary cap game! That’s 10 football games in total.
