Ben up close!
I was playing around one day, trying to get a close up, perspective shot of Benjamin and his little toy, during his tummy time.

This clip is hilarious and deserves to be uploaded. I’d hate to lose it.
The other day while cleaning out our flower beds in the backyard, I came across this little guy!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a toad or frog this small in real life.
I finally got around to capturing Benjamin doing his “thing” in his car seat. He’s fidgeting, smiling, cooing, and even doing his patented curled upper lip while he’s interested in a few things here and there!
Yogi sent this along today:
Our world will never really be the same again. We can’t go around being scared to go places though, so I guess it’s just business as usual. If shit hits the fan, oh well. We can only do our best to prevent it and be diligent in our efforts to raise security!

Google’s a good time, offering up Google Moon in commemoration of the first moon landing which happened on July 20, 1969.
Thanks for the heads up on this one, Nicholi!
EDIT: For some goofiness, zoom in all the way with the slider on the left!
Is this how you feel sometimes when you have computer grief? Well, a lot of times, I come to the rescue. But “shhhhh”, I’m a plumber.
Dan sent this link along, showing off an amazing keyboard!!!
I bought one this weekend during our shopping day at Somerset on Saturday. Damn tasty if I do say so myself!
This is a great story. It seems that kids all over are posting stories about how they have had a chance to play the new XBOX 360 that comes out this November. The difference in this story is that the kid actually took pictures and posted them on the internet. Apparently, his stepdad just got a new job at Microsoft and had the XBOX 360 home for hardware testing! The kid played Halo 2 on it, giving its backwards compatibility a run for the money, since there are no games out for testing.
I grabbed this off of AnandTech’s newsire.
Arfa Karim Randhawa, aged 10, has become the youngest person to be certified as a Microsoft engineer.
Randhawa passed her Microsoft Certified Professional examinations last year. She met Bill Gates this week and was taken on a tour of Microsoft’s Redmond campus.
The 10 year-old, from Faisalabad in Pakistan, asked Gates why children were not allowed to work for Microsoft and was told that they should concentrate on their school studies.

DAMN CHECKING ACCOUNT
A crusty old man walks into a bank and says to the woman at the window,
“I want to open a damn checking account.”
The astonished woman replies, “I beg your pardon, sir. I must have
misunderstood you. What did you say?”
“Listen up, damn it. I said I want to open a damn checking account now!”
“I’m very sorry sir, but that kind of language is not tolerated in this
bank.” The teller leaves the window and goes over to the bank manager to
inform him of her situation. The manager agrees that the teller does not
have to listen to that foul language. They both return to the window and
the manager asks the old geezer, “Sir, what seems to be the problem
here?”
“There is no damn problem,” the man says. “I just won $200 million bucks in the damn lottery and I want to put my damn money in this damn bank.”
“I see,” says the manager, “and is this bitch giving you a hard time?”
At 7 1/2 weeks old, Benjamin Peter Filias got baptized yesterday. Despite the hot and steamy weather, the baptism and luncheon afterwards were wonderful! Dave and Sarah came into town from Green Bay to share and celebrate Ben’s big day. It was very nice to have guests stay with us over the weekend. We capitalized on the muggy weather by shopping and eating all day and night on Saturday. We had a great time!
Benjamin with his godparents, Dave (Pepe) and Kim
Benjamin with his beautiful mother, Michelle
Benjamin with his dad, Peter
Benjamin actually getting baptized by Father Fred
Michelle took Benjamin to Babies ‘R Us yesterday to finally get his studio pictures taken. The last time we took him there he was asleep, so we had to pass.
Anyway, I think the results were wonderful, and worth every penny.
On Friday, Jon came over, as well as Dino and Danielle, for an impromptu barbeque. Jon whipped up some seriously good steaks, chicken breast, village salad, and mojitos!
Jon doing his thing!
Jon keeping things flowing!

Jon’s mojitos are absolutely sinful, you don’t even realize you’re drinking alcohol! The mint gives it a very unique taste!
