October Fun at Stony

· Uncategorized

Michelle and I decided that we HAD to take Benjamin to Stony Creek for an enjoyable four mile walk, soaking up the sun, the clouds, the leaves, and the overall atmosphere!

Trip to the mall

· Uncategorized

Michelle and I were about to leave her parents’ house when Kim came to pick up Louie. After visiting for a few more, we decided to leave the boys (Ben and Louie) and go to the mall to get some makeup for Kim’s costume party the following night. I also had to pick up some computer parts at Micro Center. Sounded like fun. Well, we stopped at Big Shots (the old Shhh…Booms) to see if Julie was working. Well, she was, and a few beers later, we decided to finally hit road. Well, we stopped at one more bar and this time, we were looking for Louise. We didn’t find her, but we found another beer and some greasy bar food. We FINALLY made it to Marshall Field’s, where Kim picked up some lipstick and eyeliner.

Wireless iPod Speaker System

· Uncategorized

It’s been a while since I blogged about something that caught my eye. I was looking at an issue of Wired Magazine that highlights the “best” gear of certain categories. It’s kind of like a Consumer Reports issue for people who actually buy cool stuff, and not can openers.

Anyway, Oregon Scientific, normally known for making wireless weather stations, alarm clocks, and other “gadgets” you’d typically see at Sharper Image, has come up with a pretty cool audio solution for using your iPod at home.

Testing new blogging browser, Flock

· Uncategorized

I was turned onto this browser yesterday. I saw it at www.wordpress.com as well as being told about it from a few friends. Kind of neat; built off of Firefox. I’m sure it’ll become popular for those who don’t want to add 3rd party (even though this is one) blogging tools
like w.Bloggar.

Hallowe'en Walk at Greenfield Village

· Uncategorized

Last night, we went to Greenfield Village for a Hallowe’en (as they call it) walk. It was spooky, and scary, and chilly, and dark, and … it was great!

We went to Westview Orchard on Saturday to pick out a pumpkin and enjoy the Fall weather. We had such a wonderful time with my parents! Thanks mama and papa!

Ben's Halloween Outfit

· Uncategorized

This year, Ben is going to be a skeleton for his very first Halloween! I wasn’t really into him being something real “cutesy”. I thought a skeleton was a little bit more manly than some of the other outfits. No offense to anyone, I just like skeletons. I was even a wizard at the skeleton character in Killer Instinct 1 and 2 at the arcade!

Ben meets his new cousin, Angelina!

· Uncategorized

What an exciting evening. Ben was able to meet Angelina for the first time tonight! It was wonderful. I think they are going to be tight-knit cousins. How could I tell? I just could, leave it at that!

Who did this family vote for in the last election?

· Uncategorized

I could only guess…

16 kids.

I’m VERY MUCH against this family’s “family planning”.

EDIT: Well, Jesse pointed something out to me. This dude was a REPUBLICAN state senator for Arkansas. Maybe they’re loaded, I’m a fool, and they want to have 116 kids, paying for their care.

It's a girl!!!

My brother, Dino, and his wife, Danielle, had their first child!

Angelina Candace Filias was born on Oct. 9, 2005 at around 8PM (give or take a few). She weighed 8lbs. 5oz. and was 20.5" long.
